Lawyer

Where in the Bible are you reading this summer?

Reading through the Bible so now I am in Job and Acts; attending a Bible study in Luke.

What has God already showed you about your topic?

How broad a topic trust is. Praying for a specific passage and direction.

What book have you read this past year that has changed you?

“Overcoming Fear, Worry, and Anxiety” by Elyse Fitzpatrick. I just finished it.

Sailing a long distance between ports with sunny skies and 15 knot winds on the beam.

Share a piece of marriage/friendship/child-rearing wisdom.

Guard against your children becoming more important to you than your husband. Don’t meet the kids’ needs first and your husband’s second.

How have you seen God's hand in a good situation and a difficult one?

Good - God's faithfulness in giving me direction and His Word when I’m asked to teach. Difficult - God removing a dear friend and that friendship far away. God working in both our lives and then bringing us back together again to enjoy the friendship up close and personal again.

Email, notes, phone How do you incorporate prayer time into your life?

Any time I have a repetitive or mundane job that doesn't require much thinking I use the time to pray. What music gets you pumped?
